Liz started her career in the restaurant industry in 1995 and having worked for a large restaurant chain for more than 12 years, she had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles which included Marketing, Supply Chain, New Product Development and Operations. After gaining a vast amount of experience in almost every sector of a restaurant business, it was just a matter of time before she was to step into a Managing Director position. Liz believes The Real Greek to be a unique brand and concept with great potential. She leads her team by example of hard work, a passion for both the brand and restaurants in general and her dedication to succeed!

Karen graduated with a Marketing Communication degree in 2005 after which she was extensively involved in Public Relations Campaigns and Events for non-profit organisations. Currently being busy with her postgraduate degree, she is able to bring the newest ventures and theories to the table making her an integral part of The Real Greek team. Her passion for Food, Marketing and the Mediterranean makes for a perfect combination in this role.

Claire has been involved with The Real Greek since 2002 and had to recently take a break to give birth to her beautiful little girl. Having recently rejoined The Real Greek team as Operations Support Manager, she is now responsible for the recruitment and training. Claire will bring years of experience in training and management from this and other industries. Her important role in The Real Greek helps us to improve our service to our customers by setting up solid teams and implementing vital training systems.

Ian came to Real Greek in 2003 with over ten years of experience in high-end restaurants in London and rolled his first kebab in the original Real Greek Souvlaki & Bar in Clerkenwell. In between rolling a few thousand kebabs, Ian has helped to roll out the Real Greek’s expansion as the country’s most successful Meze and Souvlaki brand. He is closely involved in menu and chef development and the day-to-day production of The Real Greek’s fresh menu items. When not mixing cucumbers and yogurt together he can sometimes be found behind the decks mixing sounds or in the dojo rolling out of aikido throws.
